We scoped the challenge with BPM Music to modernize and unify the DJ platform experience for both desktop and mobile app.
We knew that the evolving needs of DJs and producers required a highly intuitive experience that worked on-the-go.
We defined the core UX goals:
Powerful search and filtering
Seamless streaming and downloading
On-the-fly content management
We designed a modular system and dynamic interface that scales with future features while enabling DJs to quickly filter by tempo, key, genre, and quality with clarity and ease.
We collaborated on visual decisions (including color palette and light/dark modes) to support usability in various real-world DJ environments.
